Brecourt Solutions develops non-violent tech to combat violent threats like active shooter events. We’re inspired the by the WWII Easy Company’s assault at Brécourt Manor during Normandy. Lieutenant Richard Winters led a small group of eleven men to successfully disarmed four German 105mm Light Field Howitzer guns that were set up to shoot 5100 yards across the landing area at Utah Beach. It’s estimated this German Artillery Battery had 50-70 men, a formidable opponent for the twelve Americans, demonstrating creative leadership that multiplied a small force in a large combat situation.
With active shooter events on the rise, public safety remains critically important for communities, schools, concert venues, sports arenas and retail centers.
In the U.S., it’s illegal for drones to carry dangerous weapons or hazardous materials payloads. Just like Lieutenant Winters, our approach attacks the weapon, reducing additional risk for innocent bystanders.
At Brecourt, we’ve developed a non-violent approach to prevent violent events. Our system integrates with Security Operations Centers and existing remote guarding systems. Pre-positioned Indoor Drone as First Responder (iDFR™) deploys within 0.2 seconds to track a threat and send valuable data to first responders, and has a payload capable of malfunctioning a weapon.
